Very important statement, it is very important that you have shown it here, because, firstly, for me, as a person from a territory that has been under military action for 8 years, it is very important that the commander, a person who has all the information, addresses the people directly. This is extremely important. I believe that the military should talk to their people, to their own people first, and provide them with the necessary amount of information to understand. Because being in the fog of war all the time, it's not good, at least when you have a war literally a kilometer away, two kilometers, ten kilometers, fifty kilometers. It's very difficult. Therefore, I consider this step very highly and, in my opinion, this is the first responsible one for conducting his own, who addressed the people and expressed his point of view, conveyed the amount of information that needed to be done. What, in my opinion, did he say? He said that we need time, and they won't give it to us. Now we have a program launched to form the necessary forces, train people, and build military infrastructure, that is, everything necessary to protect the territory that is now part of Russia. And these actions are designed for a certain period of time, it needs to be completed. There is another side of the coin, these are the Americans, who have elections in Congress on the 8th, so they have been tapping their feet for a long time and demanding a breakthrough in Kherson, victories, so that their voters wake up in the morning, open the newspaper, and see that Ukraine, into which we have poured so many billions of money, is winning. We made the right bet, we are winning. That is, we are starting to associate ourselves with victories that Ukraine is supposedly supposed to bring, or at least the rest will be done by their media machine. Therefore, these two conflicting things create a situation in which we find ourselves. And in the grand scheme of things, what is the commander talking about now? He is talking about defending the city. That means we don't need the residents there for that. We don't need this burden that won't allow us to use heavy weapons, maybe some tactical moves. I'm not a military person, I can't reveal the secret because I don't know it. I can only talk about my opinion and understanding of what can really happen in this direction. Everyone understands that this direction is now strategic, there will be a serious battle there. And everyone there understands this. Therefore, I consider this announcement in the sense that some additional things, additional steps will be used there, which need to be dropped from our hands as a burden in the form of citizens who should not be conditionally underfoot. Therefore, these actions must be taken. He said that the formation of reserves is underway. We see this on our territory, we see perfectly well that fortifications are being created, they are being created seriously, they look normal, that is, it is a deeply echeloned defense, it is built, it holds back superior enemy forces for several weeks now, that is, they cannot advance anywhere, there are military actions going on, artillery duels, skirmishes, but they can't do anything there. Despite the fact that we know for sure that there are much more forces there. That is, our guys who are now on the front line give the reserve the opportunity to prepare. So this time needs to be won. Therefore, now there is a trade for time. Time is probably very valuable now. But morally, the flight of Gerania also greatly helps. This is the second moment that I was also waiting for in his speech, and he mentioned it. Because there will be no cessation of destruction of strategic infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine. That is, what is being done today, yesterday, the day before yesterday, will continue. And Ukraine has no choice but to open the resource called "Firewood E" in order to try to supply thousands of city residents with wood-burning stoves and firewood. Can you even imagine what it means to have such stoves in urban apartments, to heat them with firewood and try to maintain some kind of livable conditions? We clearly understand that there can’t be running water there, which means no sewage system either. So basically, there’ll be just a corner where people can somehow warm themselves, and nothing else.
This is the so-called solution the Ukrainian leadership currently sees for the situation. And they’re even trying to turn it into yet another PR campaign. Plus, of course, destroy the forests. Although I think, by the way, our Ukrainian figures will still manage to sell that timber to Europe. Timber is in high demand there. Naturally, because Europe really needs raw timber, which they will happily supply.
That’s why the destruction of infrastructure is now critically necessary. Strikes are needed—missile strikes, airstrikes—systematic ones that will deliberately destroy that infrastructure.
We’ve said it many times: in Donbas, in Kherson, in Zaporizhzhia—am I saying that correctly?—victories will come only when NATO stops supplying them with weapons. As soon as we stop seeing HIMARS there, and British missiles, and French Caesar systems, and German tanks, and everything else—once that stops coming in, that’s when real victories and breakthroughs will begin.
So first and foremost, it’s the energy infrastructure that must be destroyed. Right now, about thirty percent of it is already gone. And we need to understand: this thirty percent is from an infrastructure that no longer supports any industry. There’s no industry left in Ukraine. We cannot stop now. What’s left is just some part of the infrastructure that supports the bare minimum for people to survive. You know, Sergey, I’ll put it this way
